To enhance your experience, our App utilizes third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) services to generate personalized, dynamic narratives during the Oracle Card reading feature. When you use this specific feature, we only transmit the names and context of the specific cards you have drawn to our AI service provider to generate your reading.
We prioritize your privacy and clinical safety:
- No Personal Data Shared: We never transmit your account information, email address, personal identifiers, saved journal entries, or private reflections to our AI service providers.
- No Model Training: The limited data sent to generate your Oracle Card reading is strictly used to return your personalized narrative. It is not used by our third-party providers to train their public language models.
6. Payment Processing
We offer a one-time premium purchase within the App. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card details or personal financial information on our servers. All financial transactions are securely processed directly through our certified third-party payment gateways: Google Play Billing (for Android app users) and Stripe (for web users). The information you provide directly to these third-party processors is governed by their respective Privacy Policies and strict security standards.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information, including journal entries and reading history, only for as long as your account is active and necessary to provide you with our services. If you choose to delete your account via the in-app "Settings" menu, your personal data and associated journal entries will be permanently deleted from our active database. Please note that it may take a brief period to completely purge this data from our secure backup systems.
8. International Data Transfers
Our secure cloud infrastructure is hosted via Google Firebase. By using our App, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, processed, and stored on servers located outside of your state, province, or country, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. We utilize best practices and rely on Firebase’s rigorous international compliance standards to ensure your data remains protected globally.
9. Data Storage and Security
- Secure Cloud Storage: Your personal data, such as journal entries and reading history, is stored securely using Firebase's infrastructure. This allows you to access your data across devices when logged into your account. We employ best practices, including Firestore Security Rules, to ensure your data is accessible only by you.
- Security: We value your trust in providing us with your information and use commercially acceptable means of protecting any anonymous data we collect. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
10. Your Choices and Rights
You have control over your information:
- Access and Edit: You can access and edit your journal entries and other saved content directly within the App when logged in.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time from the "Settings" section of your user profile within the app. This action is permanent and will remove all of your associated data, including journal entries. If you have any difficulty with this then please contact us at support@ascendsolace.com and we will process your request.
11. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
